Uzaktan ayarladığım bir faks sunucusunu test etmek için KPDF‘ten bir dokümanın sayfalarını fakslıyordum. Adamların canı sıkılmasın diye de her defasında farklı sayfa…
5. sayfada bizim (yerel ağdaki) HylaFAX “Could not reopen converted document to verify format” dedi. Bir daha dene, yok olmadı. Haydaa… orasını kurcala, burasına bak derken farkettim ki doküman zaten 4 sayfaymış! Ben olmayan 5. sayfayı fakslamaya çalışıyormuşum.
Olmayan sayfayı hiçbişi olmamış gibi paketleyip faksa yollayan KDE ailesini seviyoruz.

I’m sorry I cannot really read your blog, cause I’m only speaking English and German. But I found your blogentry by asking Google about that mysterious HylaFax error. Did you solve it?
I’m searching for the solution about hours now, but all hints I found result still in the same error :(

To test a fax server I remotely configured, I was faxing a document’s pages with KPDF. Not to bore the receivers, I faxed a different page each time…
At the 5th page, our local HylaFAX said “Could not reopen converted document to verify format”. Try again, no result. How strange… examining over here and there, I realized that the document is actually 4 pages! I was trying to fax the non-existant 5th page.
We love the KDE family for packaging and sending over the non-existant page without any warnings.”
